Gentlemen, don’t think I forgot you!
Summer is on the horizon and with it comes the sunshine. Awesome for late night ragers with girls in tiny cutoffs, not so awesome for your retinas. Check these awesome shades- keyhole sunnies. My newest fave. Clean lines, vintage feel, and available in an array of frames so there’s a pair for errybody. Winning? I think so.
1. Bottega Veneta, $465. You gotta pay to play with the big boys.
2. Tom Ford, $425. How do I love thee Tom Ford? More ways than I can count.
3. Warby Paker, $95. More affordable, and the Toms of glasses, they donate a pair for each you buy. Really cool company, check it!
Go on, go outside in the daylight.

Best Drugstore Beauty Buys!
I’m backkkkkk.
I consistently suck at posting, but hey, at least I’m consistent.
Does anyone else LOVE Walgreens? [Or CVS, whatever your geographic region allots you?] I can literrally wander about the beauty aisles in drugstores for hours. I love it! Here’s a list of all my favorite products which I have found stand up against their department store counterparts for a fraction of the costs.
1. L’Oreal Infallible Never Fail Eyeliner, $8.50
Did you know L’Oreal and Lancome are owned by the same people? I like to pretend that means they are the same thing except L’Oreal won’t cause buyer’s remorse later. Their Infallible eyeliner is one of the best pencils I’ve ever used [second only to Urban Decay]. Super easy application, no sharpening required, and intense color. Perfect!
2. Neutrogena Triple Moisture Deep Recovery Hair Mask, $6.50
Something about Neutrogena makes me feel healthy. This stuff smells awesome and feels like liquid golden magic hair butter. Just as awesome as Moroccan Oil masks in my opinion!
3. Vaseline Petroleum Jelly, $4
This is a do-all wonder. Cheapest lip product, most moisturizing hand salve, best burn soother, makeup remover, etc. ever. It’s literally the same as those rosebud salves only unscented [warning: it doesn’t smell too nice]. You can literally rub it all over your body before bed and just become a softer person in no time.
4. Garnier Fructis Curl Scultping Cream-Gel, $3.50
I hate gel but somehow making it into a cream-gel changes my mind. I love this stuff. One little dollop brushed into my hair when wet and I am ready to go. One bottle will last you forever.
5. L’Oreal Ever- Shampoo and Conditioners, $15
I use EverPure because I color my hair, but there’s an option for everyone. I thought the whole sulfate-free thing was bull, but until I switched over to this, I had my hair every single day my entire life. Now I’m every other an happy and clean as a clam. I would not however, recommend the styling products, tried the mousse- ew.
6. Maybelline Last Blast, $10
The rubber bristles are my favorite! This line came with a few different ones, I’m a fan on the one in the purple tube, but feel free to try which over you like!
7. Feria Hair Colors, $10
37 different colors. If you want to go darker or more red, then I say go drugstore and save yourself a whole lot of money. Invest in a brush rather than those awful little gloves, and you can probably do the whole thing yourself. Until I got my current lighter color, I never bothered to go professional and my hair looked great thank you very much!
8. Say Yes to Tomatoes Daily Clarifying Cleanser, $10
This is a just a pure, simple, clean face wash. No foam, no fuss. It just makes me feel clean and I love it.
9. Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip Balm, $7
Tinted lip balm is GENIUS. Easy to apply as chapstick while giving the look that you actually put effort in? Yes, please and thank you Burt. Lots of colors to choose from, if you’re undecided going for Rose is a safe bet for mostly everyone.
10. Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Fondation, $12
Again, Neutrogena just screams healthy, happy skin to me. I also swear by liquid foundation and never got on the mineral powder, magic mousse, or any of those other trains. Get those cheapy sponges and apply away!
With less than $100 you can buy all the above and have absolutely all you need for a heavily armed beauty arsenal! What are some of your favorites? Share with the class!

(via maybelline)
I love glitter, I just hate the cleanup.
Le sigh.
DIY Nail Stickers!
This is almost too easy. I made my stickers while Skyping a friend in Dubai and massaging my cat, so I feel it’s safe to say these The Beauty Department DIY stickers require the least amount of effort ever.
1. Gather thy materials. Tape, baby scissors, polish- colors & top coat.
2. Paint little do-dads onto the nonsticky side of the tape as shown in the second picture. Stripes, squares, dots, triangles, hearts, letters-whatever! Remember it must fit onto your nail and you must have the dexterity to cut it out. Allow to dry completely. Super duper completely.
3. Cut them out, stick on premanicured nail, cover in top coat. The end!
Wasn’t that simple! Mine are a bit sloppy because I didn’t trim my stickers around the edges or do the top coat, but I’m off to have my nails professionally done. These claws don’t sharpen themselves ladies.

Ladies & Gents, all you need to know about makeup.
You’re welcome.
